Jeff has garnered tremendous experience over his career building independent financial products and integrating new business models into the Canadian financial system. After graduating from McGill University, he began his career selling ATMs to merchants from door-to-door. In 2001, he co-founded Cardex Payments and focused on bringing the traditionally American independent bankcard model to Canada. He was responsible for creating the first ISO – acquiring relationships in Canada - and launched the Canadian segment that brought the white-label bankcard industry to Canada. At Thinking Capital, Jeff is focused on integrating the American MCA model within the Canadian financial system. He is largely responsible for building and maintaining the numerous relationships Thinking Capital has formed, including some of Canada's largest financial institutions. He was also humbled as the recipient of the prestigious E&Y Entrepreneur of The Year Award for 2014.

As President of Thinking Capital, Peter wears many hats. He is responsible for the overall operation of the business, and also serves as the Chief Risk Officer. His main focus is ensuring that Thinking Capital has the necessary resources it needs to scale and grow, as well as ensuring that our corporate culture continues to evolve in synergy with the business growth. In prior lifetimes, Peter was a management consultant focusing on strategy and pricing and start-up experiences. He currently sits on the CIO Advisory Board for SalesForce.com. He received his Bachelor of Commerce Hon. Economics and Finance degree from McGill University and completed his Master of Business Administration at Babson College. He is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Anthony is an entrepreneur, passionate business builder and leader. He is a Senior Executive with a proven track record of successfully raising venture capital and creating value for shareholders and team members alike. Prior to joining Thinking Capital he led StubHub, eBay's ticketing marketplace, as their Canada Country Manager, through their successful expansion into Canada, achieving growth rates of over 100% in two years, becoming the clear market leader. Previously, he built and sold, iStopOver, a venture capital backed innovative short-term vacation rental marketplace. Prior to that he was the Vice President of Business Development at Brightspark Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm, widely regarded as Canada's startup experts. Anthony is a startup Mentor and Advisor with an extensive local and international network of contacts, having lived in and built businesses in South Africa, New York and Toronto. He graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, which he attended on a Full Athletics Scholarship. He joined Thinking Capital as our Chief Strategy Officer, and is responsible for our Toronto office. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two young sons who keep him happy and very active.

Steve Forte was appointed as Thinking Capital’s Chief Financial Officer in September 2015. Mr. Forte has over 15 years of finance leadership experience. From 2005 to 2015, he held various finance leadership positions of increasing responsibilities including, most recently, as Canadian head of finance for a Fortune 500 company in the retail sector and as Vice-president of Finance for a multinational private-equity backed pharmaceutical company. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Forte worked in public accounting at Deloitte and PwC. He is a chartered public accountant in the Province of Quebec and a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and holds a Bachelors of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

Pat joined Thinking Capital in late 2013 after spending close to 20 years in the brokerage industry. Immediately following college, he joined Dow Jones as a network engineer and has since occupied several senior management positions within the banking and brokerage industry. Prior to joining Thinking Capital, Pat was the Vice President of Technology for Peak Financial Services where he was responsible for building a mobile platform that helped support thousands of advisors throughout Canada. In addition, he was also the founder & President of Digital Finance, a financial services software provider that focused on creating products aimed at reducing risks by way of software automation. As Chief Technology Officer and a member of the executive team at Thinking Capital, Pat is responsible for the strategic positioning of the technology footprint, building a scalable, highly secure infrastructure aimed at providing state of the art SaaS solutions to the financing market.

Lauren joined Thinking Capital in 2006. She is a graduate of Concordia University's Bachelor of Commerce Co-op program where her work experience included marketing projects for Johnson & Johnson. Prior to working with Thinking Capital, Lauren worked for Cardex Financial, helping to develop the company's corporate and product websites as well as other marketing efforts. Lauren has assumed many roles at Thinking Capital including Funding Specialist, Operations Manager and Director of Sales, developing, managing and training the internal sales team. As Chief Revenue Officer since December 2012, Lauren is a member of the Executive Management Team and is responsible for all sales related functions at Thinking Capital's Montreal and Toronto offices, as well as with third parties.

Geneviève is responsible for all strategies related to human capital development at Thinking Capital: from talent attraction and retention to talent development and the performance of teams and individuals. Passionate about talent management for over twenty years, Geneviève worked in particularly dynamic environments and entrepreneurial cultures. She began her career at Diesel Marketing (now Sid Lee), where she built the HR function by contributing to the development of cutting-edge practices for ten years. She was also responsible for managing talent for the creative units at MEGA Brands International Design Center. Prior to joining Thinking Capital, she spent six years as Vice President Human Resources at Behavior Interactive, the largest independent video game development studio in Canada. Geneviève is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec (CHRP). She is Certified Professional Coach (CPCC, ACC) and member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Greg has had a long and storied career around the notion of being a first mover. In 1995, he founded ATMS (acquired by Frisco-Bay /Stanley) and was among the first to deploy non-bank ATMs into the Canadian market. In 2001, he founded Cardex (acquired by Pivotal Payments) and forever changed the market for point of sale systems. While at Cardex, Greg came up with the idea for Advanceit (now Thinking Capital) and played an integral role in developing it into what it is today. Greg acts as a mentor to the current management team and a thought leader in the industry.
